Kitties tore me up, and danced on my soul.
They took over my life and being such as I know it.
And I am far better for their love and affection than I would have been without it.

And I shall forever love and care for one at any time of any color that fate may toss my way.
True kitty love just works that way.

When I get to the Rainbow Bridge, I shall have many cats awaiting me there.
Some I harbored, some I only knew for a few seconds before they passed, and a couple that had already passed when I found them.

It has been said that God created Man in His image.
And I propose that God created cats in His soul.

A man dear to my heart.
Morgan Freeman tries to explain.
There are some things about time we do not still understand.

Time controls everything. But, could we control it?

I don't suppose that my life is made of 'Dark Mass/.]

There are things we still do not yet know.............
WE get there not only by work, but by understanding what we have disovered./
WE gain understanding of these forces not my direct interaction,
but by interacting with it, we gain some bit of respect for it.

Dark matter is what we are searching for on Seti.

The darkest of all human understanding of the universe.
One bit of it, and.................our discovery is made.

Just because it has to be heard.

And the darkness of night has never been so wonderfully lifted.
Such a voice. And so forgotten.
KD, I love you gurl. Your times and life have been almost as twisted and misunderstood as some of mine have.

Bless you.

What happened there is very simple.
Two simple words.
I won.

I won.

I won.

And you shall never know exactly who and what I am or what I have done.

I suppose I have cheated you from that./ Sorry, but my life makes it impossible to share some things. What is hanging in my closet are things I cannot share. Too inaceptable to bring forth.

God shall be my final witness, not you. And being the master of forgiveness that He is, I am certain that I shall be redeemed in the end.+

I have made many mistake in this life of mine.
I do not however, try to gloss then over.
Meow.
Ever.

Had a dream last night.
Yup, it was those two Ronnies mucking about with my brain.

I hesitate to say this..............
But you ever see a guy so pretty he could pass for a woman?
This guy is a man, of course.
But he is also so feminine that it makes one wonder.

Yup.

Lori./...
I am nothing without you.
Sick and tired of being sick and tired, gurl.

I am about done with it.

Life is just about done for me.

I cannot continue on this path.
Time is running out for this old kittyman.
I cannot continue on my present course.
It is going to kill me.

I have to heal myself or die trying to.

I have no other alternatives left to me now.

I have reached the end point. And I have no where else to turn.

In 1966, the mean temperature on earth was 58.6 degrees.
In 2016, the mean temperature on earth is still 58.6 degrees.

I am going back home now.
It is time.

Regardless of what I have said over the years, about being prot and all, my time is nearing it's end. \\

It is time for me to acknowledge that.

And all those moments shall be forever lost.
Like tears in the rain.

I am now preparing. My recent loss of my Tigger kitty has been insurmountable.
I cannot accept it.

I have to go now.....to try to find a place where pain no longer exists.
A place where I can finally be at peace.

That would be.........Somewhere over the rainbow.

You may find me there one day.
I shall watch for you.

This is mainstream-science, peer-reviewed, universally accepted (among scientists at least) data correlated from about 6,300 weather stations worldwide. It's also published by NASA. (Source)

If you don't trust this level of reliability, what will you do when SETI@Home detects and verifies an ETI signal using the same level of rigor, the same scientific principles, the same methodology of peer review? Why would it be any more reliable than this?

I'm sure when it happens you won't take kindly to the people who found it being called idiots by outsiders.

Ouch. And oops.

I just toppled over a 40 pound reel to reel tape machine that nearly landed on my feet. Miracles happen, and it missed.
No real worries, it was a junk parts machine. An old 8 track open reel Teac that never was gonna run again. Got it for ten bucks years ago at a flea market.

But a matter if inches and I would be in a real world of hurt.

I found this posted elsewhere,

Someone wrote a heartfelt plea, "My friend just died. I don't know what to do."

And here was the reply.

Alright, here goes. I'm old. What that means is that I've survived (so far) and a lot of people I've known and loved did not. I've lost friends, best friends, acquaintances, co-workers, grandparents, mom, relatives, teachers, mentors, students, neighbors, and a host of other folks. I have no children, and I can't imagine the pain it must be to lose a child. But here's my two cents.

I wish I could say you get used to people dying. I never did. I don't want to. It tears a hole through me whenever somebody I love dies, no matter the circumstances. But I don't want it to "not matter". I don't want it to be something that just passes. My scars are a testament to the love and the relationship that I had for and with that person. And if the scar is deep, so was the love. So be it. Scars are a testament to life. Scars are a testament that I can love deeply and live deeply and be cut, or even gouged, and that I can heal and continue to live and continue to love. And the scar tissue is stronger than the original flesh ever was. Scars are a testament to life. Scars are only ugly to people who can't see.

As for grief, you'll find it comes in waves. When the ship is first wrecked, you're drowning, with wreckage all around you. Everything floating around you reminds you of the beauty and the magnificence of the ship that was, and is no more. And all you can do is float. You find some piece of the wreckage and you hang on for a while. Maybe it's some physical thing. Maybe it's a happy memory or a photograph. Maybe it's a person who is also floating. For a while, all you can do is float. Stay alive.

In the beginning, the waves are 100 feet tall and crash over you without mercy. They come 10 seconds apart and don't even give you time to catch your breath. All you can do is hang on and float. After a while, maybe weeks, maybe months, you'll find the waves are still 100 feet tall, but they come further apart. When they come, they still crash all over you and wipe you out. But in between, you can breathe, you can function. You never know what's going to trigger the grief. It might be a song, a picture, a street intersection, the smell of a cup of coffee. It can be just about anything...and the wave comes crashing. But in between waves, there is life.

Somewhere down the line, and it's different for everybody, you find that the waves are only 80 feet tall. Or 50 feet tall. And while they still come, they come further apart. You can see them coming. An anniversary, a birthday, or Christmas, or landing at O'Hare. You can see it coming, for the most part, and prepare yourself. And when it washes over you, you know that somehow you will, again, come out the other side. Soaking wet, sputtering, still hanging on to some tiny piece of the wreckage, but you'll come out.

Take it from an old guy. The waves never stop coming, and somehow you don't really want them to. But you learn that you'll survive them. And other waves will come. And you'll survive them too. If you're lucky, you'll have lots of scars from lots of loves. And lots of shipwrecks.

Thank you.
My scars are indeed a testiment that I have both lived and loved.
I am nothing without them.
We all are borne unto this world without scars.
Of God's image. Perfect and innocent.
Life then begins to take it's toll on us.
And leave it's marks upon us.

I, and you, would not be who we are without our scars of life.
I have many. From JJ onward, my life has been a struggle to survive.
But, I HAVE.
And ya know, I am rather proud of my survival.
Every day I fight that fight.
And I emerge victorious.

Some of you do not understand the fights I have to deal with every single day just to survive. I am manic depressive and that fight just goes on and on forever. It is relentless. It never stops.

When I get a few words of understanding here on Seti, you cannot even begin to imagine how much it helps me. That is why I have been here for so many years.

I get angry and lost at times, and post things I should not.
Now you might understand why.

My life is a constant fight. One that I choose to win.
And so far, I have succeeded in doing so.

The dark side is NOT going to get me easily, my friends.
I shall not allow it to do so.

So, when I get a bit lost and come here to scream at the darkness, please understand why I do so. I am NOT screaming at you, just at the vast loss that I feel at times. I ask you to try to understand that, if you can.

Meow.

This is how it happened.
[url=Give just a few minutes to explain it.[/url]
I could lay it all out for you, but it would take more time to explain than you have time.
I do not have time enough to expound on it, and you do not have enough time to listen to my explanations of it.
I have upon close examination, come to some conclusions that are very painful to admit.

The first of which, is that our president of choice was indeed assassinated at close range by LHO. Now, having said that, his motivations are still a bit unclear. He was not a lone gunman. Of this I am quite convinced.

I can get rather emotional about this subject........indeed, almost rabid about it.
Because I know that some who were implicit in the fact are still alive.
And the fact that some of them still live and breathe pains me greatly.

For they killed a man who was more powerful than they were. And in doing so, they took from this nation something it could have been, and should have been.
I believe that JFK could have transformed this nation into something far greater than it has become.

And that promise shall never be fulfilled.

And that, my friends, is why I shall forever cry for JFK./
