Would hardly help at all.
Indeed the work needed to write, test and deliver would far out-way an minute gain in server performance or storage for a not inconsiderable amount of effort and time that the lab staff can spend far more productively in getting the new data sources on stream and the current applications in development into the field.

This host is downloading WU's but not processing them... so all of that hosts wu's will be available again...

I do have another v7 one which I do doubt will be completed before deadline 18 Apr 2016, 14:11:49 UTC...

So, in 20 days, nearly 1/3 of its WUs have timed out, including 55 v7s. That's an interesting situation. The team challenge is most likely over by now, so why continue to bunker WUs?

I doubt that bunkering... Atom CPU, so most likely it's Tablet or something like that. User installed BOINC and it's not working right, and maybe user doesn't see it's still requesting tasks.

Down to 5,414 WU's out in field

One in progress for myself.

I think that one wu is available after 18 Apr 2016, 14:11:49 UTC, that host hasn't contacted servers since 25 Feb 2016

This is as exciting as watching paint dry.

My last v7 WU that was pending validation has finally cleared.
Only the very slight chance of a getting a resend for any further v7 work now.

I don't know exactly how 'slight' this chance is.
I received 3 v7 resends over the last couple of days ...
Maybe we should have a little contest: who receives the last v7 work ?

What I do suspect, there will be one WU available at 18 Apr 2016, 14:11:49 UTC.

I doubt that this host will crunch that WU in time, because it's last contact to server was 25 Feb 2016.

If we want to have contest, I think it should be in Cafe SETI :)

Anyone interested to open new thread? And maintaining it?

All my V7 MB work has finally cleared so I'm not accepting anymore.

Now, how long before the V7 MB free edition of Lunatics is due? :-D

Cheers.

So now we have a spare, unwanted, historic, comma lying around here somewhere. I wonder how much we could get for it on ebay?

Slowly but steadily dropping....

With a smidgen over 2500 results waiting validation I am sure there will be plenty of resends in the coming days. There is currently 825 results out in the field as of 5 minutes ago
