Interesting images of the Sun. The light colored areas appear to trace out localized magnetic fields. One can see the loops and arcs characteristic of groups of lines of magnetic force.

[off topic] I saw the sun (and the sky) for the first time in 14 days today - mainly because I'm on a work assignment in eastern Finland at the moment. :) [/off topic]
