It seems that all my inconclusives on this computer: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7844250&offset=0&show_names=0&state=3&appid= are against Apple/Darwin computers. Some show differing results, some show the same results with differing stats somewhere. I was just wondering if there is something in the programing that is causing this? or this normal? Precision is markedly higher in v8, and it seems as though the standard apple build isn't quite as close as most other builds. I wouldn't be overly concerned, since your inconclusive to pending ratio is well below 5%, so in general, despite that particular build/platform possible needing some tweaking down the road, overall project health appears higher than under v6 and v7 (in terms of cross platform/device match with many applications, and higher precision) "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. Mot of mine are against Apple/Darwin systems, however I've now got a few against CUDA42 & open_cl_Intel GPUs as well. Grant Darwin NT |
