Hi all, the "Help Wanted" forum is pretty dead, outside of running seti@home and donating money, are there other ways to get more involved? Any sort of volunteer opportunities etc.?

Thanks

If you code, yes.

Join the beta project and test new applications.

I think there are opportunities for "help desk" persons as well.

Fred "seti forums" occasionally needs volunteer moderators, but with only 16 posts I don't think you would qualify yet.

On occasion there are meets of Seti people here and there; they get messaged on the boards when someone sets one up.

Otherwise this project is rather mature.

Of course if you are a professional radio astronomer or in training to be, contact Eric, there may be professional opportunities at Cal Berkeley.
