why are 2 PC's,basically same spec's acting so different?

first question..PC running 2 290x's ,4WU's each and 0 cpu tasks...splits the use of my cpu cores between all 8 where as my pc with 2 280x's(4WU's each) and 0 CPU tasks is only using 1 core, core#0 ? and both cant seen to get over 70% utilization? |

Links to these 2 hosts? Did you use -instances_per_device N option? Set N to 4 |

I´m using -no_cpu_lock on my host. It works better on my FX but your milage might vary. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

did clean install of everything,started over,newest crimson drivers and will start with 3 WU's/GPU..running 2 280x's : this look ok?? MB8 cmd line: -sbs 256 -no_cpu_lock -instances_per_device 3 -spike_fft_thresh 4096 -tune 1 64 1 4 -oclfft_tune_gr 256 -oclfft_tune_lr 16 -oclfft_tune_wg 256 -oclfft_tune_ls 512 -oclfft_tune_bn 64 -oclfft_tune_cw 64 app_info: <avg_ncpus>0.5</avg_ncpus> <max_ncpus>6</max_ncpus> <plan_class>opencl_ati_sah</plan_class> <coproc> <type>ATI</type> <count>0.33</count> </coproc> |

ok,iv clean installed everything,reajusted all setting for both PC's...started them on 3WU's each ,all of them... utilization is at 99% on 280xs and 100% on 290x's each are multiple cores now..so hopefully no errors :) lets give it a few hours and see what happens :) thanks for the help guys |
