Bright, sunny Friday morning win.
Out shortly for some shopping,
then another chunck of back lawn to knock down.
Winning that battle one section at a time.

Pretty sure it's all myth. At least what I remember is.

Maybe, but Humans have thru wars and events beyond our control(volcanoes, earthquakes, subsidence, etc, etc, etc), lost a lot of knowledge and yes even History.

New Master Locks on My front door, new weatherstripping is on the way, I had to order online at the Home Depot, since the store does not carry much, it's only a 1/2 store. My home is now just that much better, breaking in here is now that much tougher...

Freezing outside and the door looks worse than it is, the door is wood with a metal skin, but no rust, since it's not steel, but the front door locks go thunk. Yippy!
The guy earned His 1 hour alright, He'd seen a busted lock like Mine only once in His 8yr career as a locksmith, took Him 30mins the 1st time, this time 15 mins, A2Z, when I need more door knobs/locks installed, they have My business, this was $10 a lock(I had to call 3 times to get them out here, so I got a discount, I didn't even need to ask), normally $15, plus $55 per hour(the $55 is also the trip charge, well worth it).

I changed the front door knob on my Fleetwood yesterday. Used a Brinks knob. Easy to replace. Took less than ten minutes. Now the front door shuts quietly without having to almost slam it closed.

Fleetwood I found out went bankrupt in 2009(I bought My place in late 2006), the bottom Kwikset lock was shattered and the pin was shoved deeply into the bolt hole(He warned Me not to buy one type of kwikset lock that is self keying, turns out it likes to self key, even when it's not needed), I never thought He'd get that pin out, the other parts came out pretty easy with large needle nose pliers, for the pin, He used tools that I don't have, and Grace was locked up in the small bathroom for Her safety. That door was just not openable for a month or so, now I can come and go from there at will.

In one of my incarnations I was a lock smith. Actually a property manager, but with 2,000 units under my supervision I had to learn to change locks and open when tenants locked themselves out.

Once I was called to an apartment by a mother who had locked her kid inside her car. The car was out in the sun on warm day. Police and Paramedics were on site when I showed up but they did not have anything to break the window and had called for a full firetruck. I walked up to the car, and in about 2 seconds I unlocked the door. For a moment everyone just looked at me in total bewilderment. Told the cop I was the property manger and get calls about lock outs all the time.

Lesson: Locks are never a deterrent to someone who really wants to get in.

How true Carlos, I was in Security for 10 years, a locked door won't keep some people out, but for most it will, Me I just wanted to be able to open My front door again, walking around half the house to My car I don't really enjoy that much.

All along the Watchtower: Bear McCreary & Katee Sackhoff(Starbuck)/BSG

There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion
I can't get no relief

Business men, they drink my wine
Plowman dig my earth
None were level on the mind
Nobody up at his word
Hey, hey

No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But, uh, but you and I, we've been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us stop talkin' falsely now
The hour's getting late, hey

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too
Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl
