Winning before going house hunting again.

You could try http://www.realtor.com/ before going out, it will at least give you an idea of what is available and for how much, then I'd get an agent.

Thursday morning win with sunshine pouring in my office window.

@Carlos. What project is that? Is it solar, wind or both?

Good guesses, but it's transportation. I will be responsible for the southern section from Fresno to San Diego.

@Carlos: If the job brings you to the Fresno/Visalia area, give me a shout. About a day's notice so I can clear my schedule. Lots of places for a beer or two and good food around here.

Good morning TL. Hope you are feel well.
My goal for the day find a new place to live. Offered a new job in Orange County. Great opportunity that I accepting. So I get to move close to the beach again.

CONGRATS on the new job, Carlos!!! :-) Does this mean that you'll have better internet, too??? Are you still using your phone for a hot-spot where you are, now???

I went back for a followup on my leg; they did another ultrasound. The doctor will review it and get back to me. For now, I have to wear a compression stocking on my right leg for the next 13 days. Then, I have another followup with the doctor...

Other health news; I'm going to be taking a new drug, (by injection), starting next month. If my body takes to the new drug, I might be able to get off of most, if not all, of my asthma meds!!!!! :-O :-) :-D

TL

Congrats!!

There was a comment about my new position and $. Sometimes it's just about the change being the right thing at the right time. I get a raise in April regardless.

Win

You got it Don.

Oh Vic, I am using Realtor.com and well as Zillow and Craiglist. Funny thing about Realtor.com I played a small part in it's creation.

Good morning everyone. :-)

@ Lynn,

My game is NOT rigged... I'm fair to everyone who plays. :-)

...And, I finally have a number for the winning post... Took me awhile, but I finally thought of it. :-)

@ Blurf,

CONGRATS on your new position, too. :-) I hope the job and the new pay in April is what you expect them to be. :-)

@ Chris,

PM-ing a Moderator is one idea that might help; but, then that Moderator would NOT be able to play... :-O

Why do you say this game is rigged? You either trust the people that run it from time to time or you don't. One way out of it is for each person that wins it should pm their chosen number to a Moderator, then they can't change it half way through to favour someone. That is of course if it is what you are thinking?

Sorry Chris, just joking.

I did find out that the Nova Class Battlestar is very capable,
it has Jump Point Detection equipment and EMP weaponry to disable enemy ships on board,
if non-networked the Cylons would face an Enemy like no other,
a Super Dreadnought, both TV series Galactica's are there in the pic,
this is a comparison only, no antagonism intended, the Nova is at the top,
Galactica was due before the fall to have Her name transferred to a Nova class ship,
oh and Andromeda was Destroyed.

Sorry Vic, my USS Andromeda, BDC-97773 was NEVER destroyed. Don't know where you got that from. As far as Trek goes, my Andromeda isn't canon, yet... It's just my creation. So, NOT destroyed 'til I say so.

Nice try, though.

Nova class is a nice ship. Still won't hold up against an AAG. I'll still stick with Federation tech. Oh, and the AAG is a modified version of the Anti-Proton weapon used by the Doomsday Machine. So, the AAG is Trek tech.

I think he's trying to; but, I'm not 100% sure... I was trying to join in months ago when I still had my Linux system that I named Constellation up and running... He posted something about the Galactica launching vipers; and, I responded with my Commodore Anders temporarily commanding Constellation 1017-A, along with a couple other Trek ships allegedly on site asking if he needed assistance. I don't remember his exact response...

Since then, we seem to go back and forth every once in awhile.

I like the Galactica and subsequent tech; I just believe Trek tech to be superior...

Another reason I am posting about my Andromeda here is to "poor man publish" my creation. I've been playing with story lines and book material for a couple decades; creating new races, and new Federation ships... All non-canon until I really publish. I think; however, I need permission from CBS/Paramount before I can truly publish ANY of my work as canon Trek... I know this won't be easy; and may NOT happen at all. First, I'd have to finish my book, then go about finding how to get permission to publish in the Trek Universe.

Until then, it's just my hobby, and dream to create such things.

Wasn't talking about your Andromeda TL, look in the pic below, it's a small Battlestar Valkyrie class, an escort really, 8th down from the top.

Oh and while your Starship might take hours or days to reach a planet around a distant star,
a Battlestar can merely Jump there in minutes and wait for you to catch up,
(Einstein-Rosen Bridge), warp drive is a slow way to cross space, at a crawl...
No offense meant of course TL.

Sorry, missed the Valkyrie class ship. (Poor eyesight reading small text... Still saving up for new glasses.)

btw, What's the difference between Folding Space and Jump Tech??? Do they both end up with the same effect; Point A to Point B accessibility??? (Robotech used Folding...) Interesting that ships in Trek didn't use either...

And that computer has now finished an astropulse and gone on to a V8 crunching with MB8_win_x86_SSE3_VS2008_r3330.exe with that message from server still popping up.

You summed it up accurately TL, none(except the label), yep, of course similar to Star Trek BSG does use Sub light engines, only the Final Five Cylons(13th tribe, aka Human type Cylons made on KOBOL by Humans before the Exodus) had a Superluminal drive and that took centuries to cross space to the area of the 12 colonies of Man at relativistic speeds, but still slower than light speed. Star Trek was produced by Gene Roddenberry, a retired LAPD cop..
