Vic is just saying he has nothing to say, so why does he try to say anything? Well posting to win does not require communication. |

My cell phone keep sounding an alarm. Flash Flood Warning! Avoid rivers and streams. What do they think, that I am going to take my kayak out? ... Wait that might be fun. |

Well, I had my leg surgery on Thursday. It was done Outpatient, in the doctor's office. The clinic is part of Stanford University Medical... At 9:30 AM on Thursday, I took the prescribed 1 pill of generic Valium, and 1 pill of generic Vicodin. Mom drove me to the doctor's, (I wasn't going to drive myself being on Valium), and at 10:24 AM I took the second and final Valium. They ran late to start; they were supposed to get me in by 10:30 AM. I think they started between 10:40 and 10:45. I was put on a table, the assistant did a quick Ultrasound, and with a marker put markings on my right leg mapping the course of the vein to be ablated. The doctor started giving me injections of Lidocaine to numb the leg. Then a catheter was inserted into the leg up the course of the vein, and ablation with a laser began. Procedure took 30-40 minutes, and I walked out of the operating room, checked out, and mom drove me home. I NEVER felt the Valium take effect, and don't know how much effect one 325 mg Vicodin had either. Follow through is to keep the leg wrapped in sterile gauze bandages, a little tight, and take OTC Tylenol for any pain. Can't shower for 4 days from surgery; MUST keep leg in wrappings. Swelling/water retention in the right foot FINALLY dropped a bit today. I've noticed nerve issues in several areas going down the leg and into the foot where there are "Dead Spots" with no feeling. I hope that this dissipates and that I get full feeling back soon. Otherwise, all is well. TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

No alarms here. Sorry no kayak here Carlos, just the flood control channel behind the park and the foundation system under My mobile home, which is far stronger than what is on either side, My place is actually anchored down to concrete and to the soil here and the skirt is mounted very well. Also I can't swim. @ TL: Hope you feel better soon. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
