It is my understanding that such birds screech like that to literally scare their intended dinner stiff so it won't run off and avoid being dinner.

It's also known as the diet corner as some of the raccoons are there after the New Years shindig at Hotel K :)



Apparently it's not the first time the neighbours have heard raccoons singing food glorious food... :)
