I did a quick check on a list of yours (a short list, to save time):

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7047761&offset=0&show_names=0&state=3&appid=

That has a CPU job showing properly, and the GPU jobs look genuine. Any counter-examples?

And there are several on

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7047761&offset=180&show_names=0&state=4&appid=

reported today (that page offset will change quickly, as GPU tasks validate and push CPU tasks even further down the list).

Thanks for looking Richard
No, but it appears to have cleared, so I'll put it down to "one of those server things"

Does anyone see the same for *MESSIER031* running on the CPU?

Yes

I went though approximately 100 of my valids and didn't see any overflows.

But 2 of my 5 inconclusives show overflows.

EDIT: 2% seems pretty good to me.

Rookies...

Now these are Overflows; http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6796479&state=3

It would be nice if they stopped sometime soon.
I think someone needs to turn the gain down just a touch.

My validation pendings are steadily climbing, with my inconclusives having gone from being in the range of mid 20's to low 30's, to now being in the high 50's.

Yea my overflows have definitely increased significantly :(

I would rather be re-crunching the 2010 MB data than proving that the GBT data process needs work.

I would say to limit 1 GBT file at a time until they figure the problems out, because it really looks like we will have to re-crunch them again.

Well, either the *MESSIER031* tasks are broken, or they have found a radio transmission from a very old rock consert, from some planet in the Andromeda galaxy :-)

These *MESSIER031* tasks are truly noisy as a rock concert.

The nature of the data we see from GBT could be much different from that we have typically seen from Arecibo.

It could be that something is causing the applications to trip up & consider the data to be noisy.
Or we might be looking at data from pulsar observations.

Out of the tasks I am seeing on my 750ti about 2/3 result in an overflow. Is that a lot? I don't know. ¯\_(º¿º)_/¯ Many of them are coming up valid against stock CPU apps & not just other GPU apps. So that gives me a feeling that they are legitimate overflows. Unless as I said there is an error in the apps, but I feel something that major would likely have been found at Beta.

Or it could be that any signal is so far down into the noise that it is below the noise floor of the receiver, so all we see is noise :-(

I don't know if this means anything but this job shows a normal exit on my nvidia gpu but the wingman darwin shows and overflow exit.

My Inconclusives have dropped back to 50 or so, but Pendings have gone from 600, to 640, to over 700.

The one WU of yours I looked at definitely seemed pretty strange. You overflowed with 30 pulses within seconds, yet one of your wingmen running the same Lunatics NVidia xi build on a 970 completed and validated just fine...

Yeah something ain't right
I tested the card and it seems fine

I'm gonna fire up my 980 ti machine and let it crunch for a while to see what happens there

So, which card is it? nVidia says;
Base Clock (MHz) 863
Boost Clock (MHz) 900
EVGA says;
Core Clock 863 MHz
Boost Clock 902 MHz

Yours says, GPU current clockRate = 1201 MHz

neither boost is over 1k stock it's a 780 SC

Funny enough i fired up my big machine that ran during the wow event without issues and first thing it did when it started crunching the new wu's it bluescreened lol

Is it this one? http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=C811FD6B-7E4F-4C02-9839-9C581D7B338C
Boost Clock: 1020 MHz
But yours still says 1201, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=4882810147

I'm trying to run down tasks before I switch to Linux Repository drivers 'cause I'm pretty sure it's going to lose the GPU when I do. I'm just not sure if it will trash the tasks or not. What the heck, what's a few ghosts...
