I only do CPU work and I've had no new tasks yet ...down to about 55 :-)

Looks like we may be headed for trouble again.
Replica DB offline, no new tasks and problems reporting completed work to scheduler.

On Beta, able to upload a result I had, but 'stuck' at "Ready To Report", with a 1 hour back-off for the next attempt.

One of my systems has an almost full cache of GPU work, the other has only been able to pick up about a dozen WUs.
There appears to be a lot of VLARs in the system at the moment, no AP work being split, and everyone's scrambling for work after the outage.
I think GPU work is going to be difficult to come by for some time.

Yeah, looks like we're pretty much getting back to normal now on both regular and beta, barring the still-offline replica db. Wonder if there was some cleanup that had to happen after the crash yesterday ...

The SSP shows RTS = 0 and 1 of my boxes needs to get its cache filled, panic could ensue.

After the outage, I notice one work unit (2037701408) stuck on upload. Everything else seems okay (aside from the work shortage). No matter how many times I press upload, I get a 'transient upload error' within a second of the request. Does this mean this task is dead or is there a chance of the server recovering at some point?

Are all other tasks uploading OK?
In the past when I've had upload errors (similar to yours) suspending & re-enabling network access sometimes sorted it.
Though often it required exiting BOINC & restarting, others times a computer and/or modem reboot.

I've had those before, this is different. I should have mentioned that I've already reset the network connection, rebooted, etc. All other uploads/downloads are fine. Just this one work unit, which isn't a big deal, but it's a bit of a bother that it can't be accepted by the server.

My "Tasks" are not updating on the page even though I am downloading, crunching, and reporting...and my total credits and RAC are going up.

Has the size of MB V8s been increased today by a factor of 4 or 5?

The file size, or the crunching time?
Crunching times (at least for GPU work) are the same, although having a look in my data directory there are some files that are way smaller than usual- 12-16kB instead of the usual 358kB.

That is simply because the replica database is offline.

Cheers.

If those are files that end in _0, they're actually nothing new, just the Result files for tasks that are currently running or waiting to upload.

Ah, thanks.
I didn't notice that before the _0 there was the usual _0 or _1 or _2 etc.

So it looks like there is no change in file size or run times.

EDIT- unless you've just started crunching v8 work, or just switched over to Anonymous platform. In which case the estimates will be way off until you've got 11 (I think it is) valid results.

another ++;

Our RAC falls like a rock without the replica and when it reaches zero, we all can't post here anymore...
