Hi all,

I have used my old PC with an nvidia 8400gs and it works fine, however when I use this new pc I have with a nvidia gtx 650ti, why is it that it cannot find new tasks?

Logan,

Looks like your computer just got several CPU work units.

Seti went to version 8 on the new year so there are only CPU task available right now unless you have a AMD card but you have Nvidia like me.

We should be getting GPU work in the future.

There are still some v7 Astropulse GPU and v7 MB resends work running around but they are far and few between

Also GPUGrid has a high priority than Seti so if you had work for both of those projects, then GPUGrid with a shorter deadline will crunch first.

Ah alright that makes perfect sense.

I suspended the gpugrid for now and am successfully running seti on both systems. Thanks for the help
