For the Raccoon Crew.........

This sort of thing honestly stresses me out. I worry about the little guy.

I seen a cool trick yesterday by one of my kin folks to keep squirrels out of the bird feeders.
of course the feeder on top and just below it they slide on a slinky over and the squirrels couldn't get up there.
it only made it about as high as it could jump is all.

I don't think that would work very good on raccoons though (too heavy)

I think part of your post is missing. But I still think I understand the concept.

Well from what I seen you have the feeder on a post and you slide the slinky over the post. the slinky does hang a little high so if the squirrel grabs it then it just lowers it back down to the ground. He can't grab the pole itself..

Well I know a squirrel some way will figure it out, they always do. LOL

I guess I should start a new thread.

I like starting new Critter Cafes with a picture and it may take me some time to find one. I'm going to have a crazy work week and we have house guests arriving on Thursday. It may take me a couple of weeks to find a good picture and start a new thread.

Never mind. Eric had a terrific picture right on tap.

I will lock this thread and start a new one now.
