On my mobile. Have the green strip in sight. It looks like a status marker of sorts like Scott remarked about.

It is. If you remember the old website, the people with the blue backgrounds now have the green stripe.

I never noticed the blue backgrounds. I wonder why I noticed the
green stripes but not the blue backgrounds. Hmmm.

And Chris has a spinning star on his ID. WOW

There were a total of 10 of those awarded for a special donation. I've only seen a couple of others besides Chris' and mine ever post to the forums.

Speaking of donations, and because it's tax time here in the USA:
Those donations are tax deductible, right? Seti@home is a non-profit
organization, isn't it?

Yes, they certainly are...

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: If you are in the United States and Canada, your donation is tax-deductible. The University of California is a nonprofit educational and research organization governed by the provisions of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The University's Federal Identification number for reporting and tax purposes is 94-6002

Nice that they updated the page to show it's also tax deductible for Canadians (There are many Canadians who attend U.S. universities so gifts to them are exempted.)

I have been watching youtube about Star Dust Ranch in AZ, seems far fetched and wonder if their is any truth to it at all.

I'd like to hear some input on it. Ypu can find it under thirdphaseofthemoon. 02/14/17
I know most of it is total crap but this one I wonder.

Yes, raccoons often take garbage trucks as rolling dinettes.
