Message 1833360 - Posted: 30 Nov 2016, 17:04:35 UTC - in response to Message 1833343.

I am waiting on Publisher's Clearing House to deliver the goods. $10,000 a week for the rest of my life. Taxes would take half probably. But it would go a long way to making me a happy cruncher.

So am I. The problem is, I haven't entered in a year and a half.

I never have, I read once they were found throwing out entries years ago and that the drawing wasn't started yet. True or not I don't know.

Yeah. "They" say that money can't buy happiness. I'd be a lot happier with money. And it wouldn't
take a lot. Just enough to fix (and maintain) my house, maintain my vehicle, take good care of my pets,
and eat well. (I think that's all.)

Me I'd need enough to move this place, since it's paid off, buy some land, and do some work on My place, but then the park had a change in Managers. Eventually I expect either the park will be sold again, or closed. Being homeless does not thrill Me any.

But at least My credit scores are rising, and one of My credit cards just had a 50% limit increase($300 to $450), so I'm doing something right.

$10,000 a week, I get just over that much in a year, I've been poor all My life, but resourceful...

Yes,

Money does not buy happiness; but, you can drive around in a Mercedes looking for it.

As long as we're just dreaming, why not dream for enough to buy (pay off) a small house? Dream for a home that
isn't dependent on someone selling or closing the park. DREAM!!!

Diversify. Put your money into several different offshore accounts! And some under the mattress. ;-)

Back to critters, here is what happens in the same spot every Autumn in my house:

These little guys and gals do no damage, thank God. (Or if they do, I'm blissfully ignorant of it.)
(And wish to stay that way, hint, hint.)

I've posted a few close-up photos in the Buggy thread.

Yes, ladybird beetles or, as I know them, lady bugs.

Not at all. They are preparing to hibernate. I did a little research and found out that they
leave a strong scent* behind so they'll know where to hibernate next year. That must be
why I see them every year at this time and in the exact same spot.

*Strong to them, not necessarily to humans.

It's related to My severe anxiety, the mobile home I live in is paid off, but then where I live is not helping with My problem, though I intend to solve that, just so I can have some peace of mind. What I want to do, might not be affordable to Me with My current income level, but I won't know that until I'm ready, until then I will just keep on moving forward-->.

Oh and as to why don't I dream of something like I see on TV(Flip or Flop on HGTV)?

Cause I don't think I can do that, I can dream, but in the end that won't happen here, and I know it.

OK cute squirrel pics warning!!

Having now volunteered my services to the Isle of Wight Red Squirrel Trust. I have a bit more information on what to feed them.

I started small a few hazelnuts and some sunflower seeds.

Well the hazelnuts were very popular.

Sat in the dish and eat them all.

Sitting back occasionally with paws across stomach .

And occasionally looking toward the window.

But mostly just enjoying the nuts.

Amazing.

I see by the last picture that you're trying to get her hooked. ;-)

Yes it was rather prominent. That was only a temporary arrangement to see if the squirrels would use it.

I have now moved on to phase 2

A Wight Squirrel Project feeder. Currently I have left the lid open so they can get at the nuts easily.

Apparently they have no trouble lifting the lid once they know what is inside. At the moment a mix of peanuts, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds and walnuts

Hopefully some pictures soon.
