Do you know what? It feels like forever since I've been in here. That is not good. What is good, is that I think I've caught up now :) And followed all the links to their critter stories, (I'm so glad they got Scoop down. I was getting a little worried there) and loved all the pictures, and learned stuff about hummingbirds that is no use to me because we don't have hummingbirds :/ but not to worry. I have stored it between my ears nevertheless :)

Nonetheless it's nice to know about them Anniet, I learn also at times people talk about animals I have never seen or heard of.

I KNOW SOME CAMERAS HAVE A RED EYE OPTION BUT IT COMES FROM THE FLASH BEING TOO CLOSE TO THE LENS. I SEEEN THEM PUT A FLASH UP HIGHER AND RED EYE WENT AWAY,

My Dad solved the red eye problem, but this requires a camera with a shoe, then the flash can be bounced off the ceiling, yeah only works indoors, but that's what He did.

The camera I used actually does have a hot shoe, but I haven't bought an auxiliary flash for it.

Gordon I had a friend that had one in the house and you should have seen that bunny get down a long set of stairs, it would lay flat and slide down the stairs on it's tummy like that's the easy way to do it. LOL

Hi Annie, welcome back :-)

But don't house bunnies poop?

They are litter box trained. Their boxes are in the corner.

They negotiate going up steps pretty well, but Bugs, being older, is a little more tentative in his approach. Going down is what worries me, and I usually pick them up for that.

*SNORT* For a minute there I thought I was at einstein. You ask good questions :) I'll let you know when I know...

edit @rabbits
My daughter's lop-eared dwarf (heh heh yeah right - that's what they said it was when we bought him for her - grew to be GINORMOUS) wasn't very bright, but was adorable. He would occasionally leave droppings during a hop. It's the wee where it gets messy though, but they always stick to the one spot for that in my experience, so house training isn't too difficult usually. Guinea pigs were a little more unpredictable I found.

oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :)

Park Police officer accidentally shoots himself while fighting raccoon

The poor animal probably was unwell.

When we have visitors, my little woodland friends prefer to hide and have never attacked any guests we've had. With familiar people, they can be quite friendly.
