Not much changed then in 130 years.

No. Anger still rules, like Trump.

Surprised this hasn't hit yet.

Who killed three people and injured 12 in a wild birthday party gunfight at a makeshift Jamaican restaurant in a West Adams home?

That’s what police were trying to determine Sunday as they sought the mass-shooting killers amid still confusing reports.

Various sources indicated three men left the party after an argument and returned with guns. As they opened fire, people at the party began shooting back.

But according to the Los Angeles Times, the gunfire may have been sparked not by a simple argument, but rather by a drug deal gone bad.

If war on drugs related, another Reagan Republican failure.

Another failure of law.
http://abc7.com/news/2-arrested-in-deadly-west-adams-party-shooting-/1557964/
The suspects were identified as Mowayne McKay, 33, and Diego Reid, 25, both of whom are Jamaican nationals, police said.

There is a law against foreigners buying guns. I guess criminals don't obey laws. Big SHOCK.

A new low and sadness for USA road-rage?...

Now with added guns:

Boy, 3, killed in Arkansas road rage shooting over slow driving, police say

Grandmother ‘wasn’t moving fast enough at a stop sign’, authorities say, as boy becomes second child killed in Little Rock road rage incident in recent weeks...

Only in the USA?...

Then why have so many guns 'out there'?...

Because crazy people can buy them.

Here is a very good example of what can be done and is being done:

How Japan has almost eradicated gun crime

Japan has one of the lowest rates of gun crime in the world. In 2014 there were just six gun deaths, compared to 33,599 in the US. What is the secret?...

... "The moment you have guns in society, you will have gun violence but I think it's about the quantity," says Overton. "If you have very few guns in society, you will almost inevitably have low levels of violence."

Japanese police officers rarely carry guns and put much greater emphasis on martial arts - all are expected to become a black belt in judo. They spend more time practising kendo (fighting with bamboo swords) than learning how to use firearms.

"The response to violence is never violence, it's always to de-escalate it. Only six shots were fired by Japanese police nationwide [in 2015]," says journalist Anthony Berteaux. "What most Japanese police will do is get huge futons and essentially roll up a person who is being violent or drunk into a little burrito and carry them back to the station to calm them down."

Overton contrasts this with the American model, which he says has been "to militarise the police"...

All a question of who's freedom and liberty?...

All in our only one world,

Did the period from 1920 to 1933 not teach you anything?

I don't care what anybody does as long as it doesn't affect me.

And I don't want to pay for the consequences of your poor choices.

Life is a journey Guy, and we're all in it together whether you like it or not (unless you have another planet to go to), though better choices can be made if you bother give a sh#^, but we know how greedy, narrow and primitively minded you are so just forget I said anything.

Cheers.

Ah, so. Another failure to have mental health in the USA.

How does someone who marches into a government office and claims the CIA is beaming stuff into his head not end up on a no buy list? Oh I know. Americans have the right to be crazy, but not the right to be protected from crazies or the ability to force sanity, except when awaiting trial. Thank you to the abuses of head shrink prisons.

Because more and more states are ignoring FEDERAL law.

http://www.governing.com/gov-data/state-marijuana-laws-map-medical-recreational.html

Prime example of the supremacy clause. Why aren't the democrat/socialists/Marxist/communists whining about the supremacy clause on this topic?

Federally, weed is ILLEGAL, but this is a law the liberals are choosing to ignore.

Why is this? (rhetorical question, I know the answer already)

Edit: it'll be interesting to see how Trump handles this one. My gut feeling is he'll zero out the budget of who ever is trying to enforce this law in the name of balancing the budget.

Wait, so, you want the states to answer to a federal law??

CONFORM!
