I have an i7-4790K CPU with an unloved onboard Intel HD4600 iGPU. It has remained unloved until today when I tried getting it to crunch BOINC. I have finally got BOINC to recognize that I have additional crunch capacity, but it is not using it.

In BOINC, it shows (0.04 CPUs + 1 AMD/ATI GPU), but it shown that before I enabled the HD4600. How can I get my iGPU to start work?

BOINC 7.4.42 x64
Lunatics Apps
Windows 7 64

BOINC sees its there, and it shows on site for my machine under 'GPU' along with my primary card. I have "<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>" in my 'cc_config.xml' file.

Also here is the output from 'stdoutdae.txt':
02-Jan-2016 14:33:11 [---] CAL: ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD 5700/6750/6770 series (Juniper) (CAL version 1.4.1848, 1024MB, 991MB available, 2560 GFLOPS peak)

Thanks in advance :)

Simply add

<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>

to your cc_config.xml ;)

[edit]
I see, you've already done that...

Maybe, it's simply the lack of GPU-WUs in the very moment now?

Lunatics Apps

Did you remember to reinstall and select Intel apps?

You don't need to do that, Different vendors, If he had two different Nvidia GPUs, or two different ATI GPUs, then yes,
But not when you only have one GPU from one vendor, and only one GPU from another,
Anyway, has anyone heard of an Intel CPU having two Intel GPUs yet?

I had the "use_all_gpus" because I had 2 ATI cards (6770 & 6550), but since removed one. I have considered reinstalling it at some point.

Juha, I did not install the Intel apps. I have just reinstalled the latest Lunatics apps and checked the Intel apps.

If there is a shortage of GPU workunits, I'll keep it as it is now and just let it run. I'll keep this thread posted on any progress.

Thanks guys. :)
