I keep getting inconclusives on the Astropulse tasks with a GTX 460 that I have obtained (yeah, it's old, but we aren't rich) using the most recent Lunatics Cuda optimized V7 client. The regular multibeam SETI V7 tasks all validate without error. I don't want to get s*itlisted, so does anyone have any insight on the GTX 460? Current config is set to 0.5 (two simultaneous) on the GPU, and eight simultaneous on the CPU. i7-4790K @ 4.7 GHz (unconditionally stable), 32GB DDR3-2400, GA-Z97X-Gaming G1-WIFI-BK motherboard, H100i GTX cooling, PNY GTX460 @ 840 MHz GPU / 1900 MHz RAM (valid with everything I throw at it, except Lunatics Astropulse). Delidded i7-4790K (CLU/CLU) at 4.7GHz @ 1.310Vcore 24/7, 32GB DDR3-2400, Corsair H100i v2, Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK, MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming 4G, HX-650 PSU, Corsair 750D |

1) There is no such thing as CUDA AstroPulse, there is OpenCL AstroPulse. 2) Update to latest Lunatics installer. |

Until not that long ago I was running a gtx460 with a 6 core amd phenom cpu. A few things to think about based on memory. First is, if you intend to do any AP tasks you will need to free up at least one cpu core, also don't expect to run more than one AP at a time. Another thing is make sure you kick the dust bunnies out very regularly as these cards don't like running hot for extended periods, and, to the same end, don't expect to overclock the GPU, as you say it is an old card and it will be showing signs of its age. Good luck, treated with care that card should give you good service for anothrt few years. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

So, it could be that I have it set up to do two when there isn't enough RAM for that? 1 gig should be enough for two AP or for two MB. What does the BOINC Event Log say? |

1) There is no such thing as CUDA AstroPulse, there is OpenCL AstroPulse. your stderr contains bool2 failures. It was fixed already. Try to reinstall from latest Lunatics installer. |
