Well, it seems Vic has handed the thread right back to me again.

The rules:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's Pub.

I'm thinking this one may have a date rather than a number for its target.

I'm going to start off by asking Vic what 919 had to do with a Hornet.

I'm also going to repeat my question from post 919:

You mean you've never heard of the Honda Hornet CB900F?

The 919 refers to the engines displacement in cc's or 919cc.

I used to own a 1982 Honda CB1100F, among others(1984 Suzuki GS1150ES, My fav, a 10 sec capable bike)... If It weren't for My weight, severe anxiety and the winds in the high desert, not to mention the heat and cold, I'd still be riding a motorcycle.

Oh and congratz, your post in the last thread drafted you, Merry Xmas David.

Congrat Vic. Do you still ride?

Thanks and No, though I'm still licensed for both motorcycles and automobiles. The Hornet pic is from the web.

Nope, never heard of it. I was never into motorcycles. Always been afraid of falling off and getting hurt. Rode one once, and that was enough.

I was riding bicycles since I was 11yrs old, so riding a motorcycle was fairly easy, of course some drivers seem to think the road is only meant for them, once I had to pull the clutch lever in and rev the motor to high rpms to get a car drivers attention, why? She was making a lane change, right to where I was at on the fwy, that got Her attention, She went back to Her lane, since where She wanted to go to was occupied by Me... Horns on bikes have been noted for years as being about as loud as a kittens meow, wimpy noise makers, the horns, not kittens...

A 125cc Bultaco? Neat, an old dirt bike. And a kick starter, fun.

350 cc.

The Space X launch is in 1 min.

Well the rocket launched, deployed 11 communication satellites and returned to earth with a nice soft landing only 3 feet from the center of the landing pad. Pretty amazing two watch. I wish I had timed that.
