It looks like spring has sprung, more or less splitting the difference with the groundhogs that said 2 weeks this year. 60s all week, maybe even 70 tomorrow. But some rain with it. No, scratch that. Dropping into the 40s Thursday, I think, and staying there for Friday. Climbing back out for the weekend.

A nice 22C (feels like 20C) here ATM, but whether we'll get to the expected 24C for today is another story.

Cheers.

Couple of really nice days, now a couple of slightly less nice but still above average days. A lot less rain than originally predicted.

I drove all the way home from downtown Chicago last night with my window down and wearing just a short sleeved shirt. Turned on the heat for the last 10 minutes or so.

Well for once in about 6 years we have flash flood warnings, some areas are flooding now.

We have 3 more days yet before we get a break, the southern part of the state isn't getting very much but we are soaked. The dams are filling nicely and some had to drain some off in fear of over flow.

Looks like the rain passed over my head without dropping anything, nothing but clear skies for us.

No rain outside, though it did rain yesterday, 0.02 inches, of course, the water pipes have no pressure in them, for some reason, the 2 water well pumps have failed, yeah I left a message with the park manager at 6:27am.

adding up each month so far since Oct.2016 date we got a little over 27 inches of rain. One more day of rain in the forecast right now.

Lawn was dead all summer up to Dec. and now it's looking good again. We still are on (water control yet)
