I'm happy being back home on the top of this mountain after enduring a few days of coastal heat (32C+) and high humidity.

But we're expecting a heatwave this week starting with today reaching about 27C and hitting 31C by Thursday before dropping back to the low 20's.

More rain & storms are also expected back too from this afternoon until the weekend which will likely cancel this weekend's horse race meeting here as the track is still very wet from last week's rain (the back straight went under twice and won't take much to send it under again).

Cheers.

Well I'm not into pony racing Wiggo but I have seen some wipe out in the mud, rare but it happens.

We are getting some rain but wish it was more than what got so far. Next week looks like a wet one here. we'll take all we can get.

I'm no fan of the horses either Grant, but I do look forward to the after races' entertainment (& single women) down at the bottom pub (which won't happen if cancelled). ;-)

Cheers.

It looks like we'll bust our max forecast for today (29C) as it's already 26C with 4hrs of heating up still to go.

Better than being down on the lowlands though where temps are already past 30C. :-O

Cheers.
