Five entries and it's New Years Eve!

We'll let it run another 24 so all the celebrants get a chance.

The human says:

I liked him better before, when he ditched the raccoon. Shame he picked the rodent.

Not for the win but...

Another successful Quokka photobomb.

Cheers.

Well we seem to have run our course on this one, so now I'll be judgmental.

Special thanks to Wiggo for the rational explanation, I had no idea about Quokkas or their habitat(which seems to include some annoying humans).

3rd place goes to Rob Smith
Humans come in useful sometimes, my arms just aren't long enough.

In 2nd we have Grant Nelson with
Punxsutawey Phil's vacation at the beach after seeing his shadow letting those folks in PA. enjoy all that snow for 6 more weeks.

And the winner of this round and control of the 1st 'Beets' of 2016 goes to KWSN, THE Holy Hand Grenade with
How much of Chuck could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck Chuck?
Even though not a woodchuck the thought is germane.

PM going out.

Well, it's Judgement time, not that there are a lot of choices...

In Third Place is Lynn for:

"I tried to kill the spider with hairspray. He's still alive, but his hair looks Fabuuuuulous!"

In Second Place is Carlos for:

"Spidermite
or
arachnophobitta"

and the winner is and First place goes to The Admiral for:

"Let's see what my radioactive @$$ can do to you."

My caption would have been along the lines of:

"The Spider That Ate Albany!"

The actual spider seen is quite small, though, around ½ an inch (12.5mm) across the legs - the photo was taken at 1:1 on the image sensor. This guy/gal is seen outside my breakfast room window from below with a 105mm macro lens.

PM going out to the Admiral as soon as this is posted...
