Hello ! Has anybody else noticed that some workunits last between 40 seconds - 5 minutes (at least in my case) ? And I wonder , which is the reason of this ? I heard something about "noisy workunits" , I am not sure about the accurate meaning of this. However , I noticed the app quits because can't hadle more than(30) events . Are we near the E.T or it's just a computer malfunction ? ;) http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=4605828174 <core_client_version>7.0.36</core_client_version> setiathome_v7 7.21 Revision: 2006 arm-linux-androideabi-g++ (GCC) 4.6 20120106 (prerelease) libboinc: BOINC 7.2.4 Work Unit Info: ............... A noisy wu, or shorty, is one where this section
has a total of 30; it's assumed the wu has a lot of radio noise in it and 30 is used as a cutoff to stop 'wasting time' on it if there's just going to be a lot of noise.... |
