If you want to be first on your block with a GBT workunit http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/forum_thread.php?id=2266 You will need to join Beta and be running a Linux box. |

Can I have some new WU's and canonical results, and the current OpenCL or Cuda source code please. To overcome Heisenbergs: "You can't always get what you want / but if you try sometimes you just might find / you get what you need." -- Rolling Stones |

Can I have some new WU's and canonical results, and the current OpenCL or Cuda source code please. I'll be injecting the necessary changes for the Cuda app into the Berekeley svn XBranch part as soon as they stop committing changes to the CPU app :), Then once operational it's piling in our changes one by one. [*Normally* they want a bit of breathing room for the standard app beta test to happen alone first, though I'd imagine they'd like a functional Cuda app pretty quickly.] [Edit:] After asking, was waiting on a possible switch for workunit type detection, and see a most recent cpu graphics app commit seems to switch on a tag in the workunit, along with a date, so I'd imagine that'll do for determining which code to run. I did a circular to all volunteer devs known to me, to coordinate the public optimised app update effort. (Commonly known as Lunatics). If you didn't receive it but think you should be on my list, please provide email address by pm and planned area of involvement. I should have the core team, but may have missed a few of the more elusive contributors or gotten an email address wrong. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. Might be worth repeating that in the Beta thread that Gary linked. |

Might be worth repeating that in the Beta thread that Gary linked. Yes, Sir, Sir! A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

For those not on Beta, v7.99 for linux has been released. See the bottom of the page. http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/apps.php Expect some considerable delay before you see anything here at main. |
