So..

Has anyone tested this new driver yet?

Does it resolve some of the issues with the newer hardware?

Inquiring minds would like to know.....

This doesn't sound good;

AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 8000 Series (HD 8400 and below), Radeonâ„¢ HD 7000 Series (HD 7600 and below), Radeonâ„¢ HD 6000 Series, and Radeonâ„¢ HD 5000 Series Graphics products have reached peak performance optimization as of November 24th, 2015.

These products have been moved to a legacy support model and no additional driver releases are planned. This change enables us to dedicate valuable engineering resources to developing new features and enhancements for graphics products based on the GCN Architecture.

As a courtesy to our valued supporters we are providing a final “As Is” Beta driver together with the release of the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition. The AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition Beta driver includes the redesigned user interface as well as some enhanced features. More information can be found in the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition Beta Driver Release Notes.

Just installed it on my R9 380.

First offline benches didn`t show much differences.
Will try to run 2 instances tomorrow after work.

Am still stuck on uninstalling the previous Catalyst Control Center. The uninstaller seems to be checking all 3.5 TB of my drives. So will take a while longer.

It took me only 5 minutes to unistall 15.7.
Have 4 TB drives installed.

Ah, but I chose to uninstall everything. Was still on the 14.12 Omega drivers.
Most of my drives are 5 year+ HDDs, none are SSD or SSHD.

Oh yuck, someone thought it be a good idea to include their own Steam in the CCC, what's it called, AMD Gaming Evolved? That's gonna go back off again in a moment, because it has too many things I cannot disable (like the built-in P2P torrent client).

What's the AMD Elevation Proxy? Hope I can get rid of that.
Oh great, I cannot uninstall AMD Gaming Evolved without uninstalling the whole package and reinstalling it again.

Edit:
Well, at least...

Edit2:
AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr) is uninstalled.

It wouldn't be any fun if it didn't present some problems so that we can get a sense of satisfaction with we finally get it where we want it.

And few MB tasks per GPU simultaneously are ... (failing/working substitute correct one) ?

Looks good so far.
No suspicious behaviour so far.
GPU usage is 99% and all tasks are valid until now.

Interesting how Dirk's monster PC would work with this driver then.

With prev drivers on one task were possible.
I´m just wondering why MB`s running simultaneously but AP`s doesn`t.

Usually I have issues with MB, not AP.

Thats what confuses me also.

Clean.wu is strongly similar.
Further testing required.

I downloaded online task which my card produced 30 single pulses but my wingman on CPU didn`t overflow.

So you see overflows running few AP tasks per GPU? And all OK running 1 AP only?

It reminds operation of my iGPU. It often does invalid overflows on AP tasks while processes MB stably w/o any invalids. Maybe AP rises temp slightly higher and hardware stability issue arise?...
