I've got a new i5 coming to replace the 10 yr old P4 that died. I have a couple of questions on how to run it.
1: Do I still want to run Lunatics since as I understand the stock apps are now the same?
2: Should I use the IGPU? or just use only the 4 cores, it is 3.7 GHz.
3: If I use the GPU should I crunch on 3 cores or leave another free to feed the GPU? This will only be used for Seti.

You should run the installer.
The Lunatics CPU apps are much faster.
Only the GPU apps are the same.

For the IGPU i leave this to others who know more about it.

With each crime and every kindness we birth our future.
