And we have a winner! Exactly on too, no need for me to count backwards.

It's Vic with post 776. If you recall, I rolled one die and subtracted the number from 11; I rolled a 4, so the first digit was 7. Then I rolled two dice and got 7. Rolled them once more and got 6.

Now to those clues. At first, I didn't really have any idea what to do with 776, but something someone said made me think of a song from 1776 and I decided to hint at the number being 1776 - 1000. This came along fairly far into the process, so I didn't make a big deal of it. I *think* the biggest clue I gave was the title "Piddle, Twiddle, and Resolve (but 1000 fewer times)".

Anyway, PM coming.
