Had to replace my laptop hard drive and now running Windows 10. Re-installed Boinc Manager 7.6.9 (x64). Added SETI@Home and told it I was existing user - gave email address and password but comes back with "Login Failed" "Check the email address and password, and try again". Made no difference. Followed procedure to change password - made no difference. Had an account since 1999 so bit miffed that Boinc now refuses to admit my existence. If I use the long 'authenticator character chain' then it goes straight to my page where it shows my email address etc. So have no idea why it won't 'talk' to me so I can add seti and continue crunching data. Any suggestions/help would be most welcome. Firewall is configured to allow boinc and its elements access. |

Is this your laptop? http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7813428 If so it looks as if asking question has cured the problem - which is not unknown in the great world of BOINC & SETI......
