I understand the difficulties with launching a new project as this and I am sure the Berkeley folks are working hard to fix it....but I am just a bit miffed that regular progress reports are not being made. When you have this many people doing work for you, you need to keep them informed. Wild rumors find fertile ground in the information vacuum...including that the downtime is not an accident or a problem, but intentional. As a group starter...I need to be able to give my members something....anything...in terms of expected repair time and current actions being taken. I have two questions. Are there any estimates for this repair time and is it possible for the SETI folks to be more informative in the future when problems like this arise? Thank you. |

You are asking for way to much. Even in Beta it was hard to get an answer. Try http://predictor.scripps.edu/ At least it's working and they seem to keep you more up to date on events. |
