I didn't really watch the debate closely last night but from what I did see, it seemed like Clinton was cementing her nomination likelihood, and Sanders seems like a good choice for running mate. I know Biden has all sorts of reasons for staying out to this point, but it would have been nice to have him there, too. What are your thoughts? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Just wondering what a Sanders/Trump debate would look like! Never happen, of course. Me too, but it would be interesting to have Clinton, Sanders, Biden, Trump, Fiorina, Rubio, and some others mix it up on stage together! The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Just wondering what a Sanders/Trump debate would look like! Never happen, of course. Really boring probably. Trump would just go and spout his insult one liners and just ignore anything Sanders would say. |

(edit: oh, that's right, no png's, only jpgs...) I can believe it. CNN was down in Ferguson and St Louis County at the I-70 protest and constantly was twisting little details such as calling the rock-thrower a 'protester' when it was a teen who lived in the apartments near Hanley and I-70 who ran back into his building after throwing the rock. If it weren't for the independent journalists, citizen streamers, (sometimes) Vice News, what was happening during the unrest would have been twisted even further and the BLM may have died in it's cradle. Bernie seemed to win by the focus group at CNN, the number of Twitter followers gained (tracked by Forbes), analyst at Salon and this blogger at HuffPo went through an entire series of polls and surveys stating a case that Bernie won. |

Sanders is the only candidate speaking for the general population. Given the opportunity, he would bring in a new beginning for working people in the US. I hope he wins the Oval Office. We take him, you put up with gales of laughter wafting back across the order when he gets elected and we graciously return him to his palatial digs in New York city, in the name of good international relations! |

Well Canada does have Harper so sanctions on maple syrup make as much sense. |

Looks like the betting sites (like Microsoft Research???) and statistics site, like Nate Silvers' still have Bernie soundly losing in the race for the nomination. One of them said that the debate was for who would be Clinton's running mate, not the candidate, and after seeing how Bernie didn't attack Hillary full bore, like debate advisor's recommend of a trailing candidate, I tend to agree. |
