Why is this WU still going on? (I was the person who abandoned it, computer glitch). Here is the strange goings on: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1877590615 Not really important, just strange looking to me. Quite simple: It was sent to two people, one of them returned it in time (7649837), the other didn't (6757679) 6757679 exceeded time, so it was sent to you, and you had to abandon it for whatever reason. It was sent out to 6606013, who is still working on it. 6757679 returned late, and their return validated with 7649837 6606013 is still processing.... Not really simple: It validated 5 days ago....... yes, stuck sounds good. SETI@home classic workunits 4,019 SETI@home classic CPU time 34,348 hours |

I've seen this sort of thing on a number of occasions - most often they don't get cleared until either the last send out is returned or times out. So only about 3 days to go to see if it is stuck or will clear. (And you don't need to worry about it as you will not be getting any credit for it having abandoned it, which triggered the final re-send, which still hasn't returned.) I will of course keep my eye on it. I am not worried at all about it, I was just curious. SETI@home classic workunits 4,019 SETI@home classic CPU time 34,348 hours |

Looks like it is stuck as the last computer ended with: Not started by deadline. and it is still there. SETI@home classic workunits 4,019 SETI@home classic CPU time 34,348 hours |

Looks like it is stuck as the last computer ended with: Not started by deadline. and it is still there. The return date/time on the "Not started by Deadline" task is 13 Oct 2015, 3:21:49 UTC and no additional Task has been sent. Give it 24 hours, see if it drops off. It is gone....... You were correct in that it needed 24 hours to drop off. SETI@home classic workunits 4,019 SETI@home classic CPU time 34,348 hours |
