Greetings Earth - Planet Vermont here. I've been trying to send what is now 6 units back to you that are Ready To Report. But they won't budge. Did you have another fire or something? Everything else is working fine. My ISP is running fine - as you can see if you're reading this. Any ideas? I'll be checking back later and do so until resolved. Need me to organize a bucket-brigade? There is a bit of an issue with the reporting mechanism, it stalls a reporting session periodically. After a few minutes it picks up again and runs smoothly. This being a server side function there is nothing we can do apart from let it sort its life out. Now I have 13 waiting to report. I hit the Update and Scheduler request pending just sits there. I hope it clears itself soon. It will run out of units pretty quick at this rate. |

...only 13!!! You are so lucky, when I left home this morning(over 4 hours ago) I had double figures on three out of four PCs, one of them appears to have just made a successful contact, the others are doing their own thing. Leave BOINC to sort it out, don't repeatedly hit the "update" button as doing so can make the situation (for you and others) worse. I'm sitting on 200+ completed tasks over 4 computers at my house that aren't able to report. Interestingly, the computers at my work and my dad's house seem to be communicating with s@h just fine. |

I am having the same problem. Repeadedly hitting "Update" doesn't work for me. I have been doing that for a quite a while now. It looks like "Update" is working or at least goes thru the motions. Here is the message that I left in the "Questions and Answers" Website: SETI@home: My SETI:" message area: All of a sudden, out of the blue my SETI@home project won't connect to your servers nor will it download any new tasks. I have 13 tasks waiting to be uploaded. I started SETI@home on 9/20/15 and have had no problems up until now. I joined Milkyway@home to run in the meantime and it has no problem uploading completed tasks or getting new ones. They are the only 2 projects that I am running. I did a cold boot (turning off the computer and then powering it back on) in case something was causing problems with Windows or BOINC manager. My setup here is: CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor [Family 16, Model 5, Stepping 2] (It looks like almost all of the CPUs running SETI software are Intel. Very few AMDs) Windows 7 Home Premium (version 6.1) x64 Edition Service Pack 1 (06.01.7601.00) BOINC 7.6.9 SETI@home V7 7.00 windows_intelx86. Computer ID: 7770980 TThrottle v7.5.2 (I was having overheating problems so I installed this) |

So, you copy over your post with question from your first post, bu willfully ignore the answer I have already given you there? Here, again: Matt Lebofsky, project mogul wrote:This is a really hard problem to characterize, and thus it's hard to help campus solve, but it looks like there is a router (on campus and out of our control) acting funny. Or it may be an internal problem that is difficult to track down (as this weirdness is affecting random machines at random times in random ways). |

Ist kaput. Some variety of server problem in California. It's not a problem on your end. Please do not keep hitting 'Update' as that serves no purpose but clogs the system further. They'll fix it when they figure it out in California. Have fun - Dave |

Well darn, I haven't helped with SETI online for quite a few years and with the flickering star news thought I would hook up my two latest machines and let them crank. Unfortunately looks like the ready to report is still hanging people up. I will let them crank out a week or so but if it's of no use I will just uninstall it later. Not really a huge deal I guess but I was thinking probably lots of computing power jumps on the bandwagon when it hits the news once in awhile. Bummer. :) |

??? I am reporting all work without problems. The only thing is, according to the server status page the replica secondary database is offline, which means that we can't see anything happening with regards to tasks and computers in our account. It doesn't mean that results aren't registered, credit isn't given out. 17/10/2015 00:59:25 | SETI@home | Reporting 1 completed tasks 17/10/2015 00:59:34 | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks |
