I had corn and peas, from 2 cans of 30.25 oz total, no I didn't eat that much, more like 1/4 of that, heated in the microwave for 10 minutes, totally drained while heating, with some pepper to taste to what I put on the plate, and 2 fish fillets for 2 minutes.

I just read something that said Trump drinks an average of 12 Diet Cokes a day. That's a lot! I like Cherry Coke Zero, but I can't imagine drinking it all day. My mother liked Tab, but I don't think I've ever tasted that one.

I had some Tai Succi today prepared by my brothers GF Nabi.
Delicous:)
Reminds of the Japanese dish Sukiyaki.

I've heard of sukiyaki, and it sounds pretty good, but I've never tried it.

Succi/sukiyake is quite a simple dish and very nice in cold climates.
You boil meat and add a lot of vegetables and noodles.
And here is the song:)

I am making a pot of split pea soup right now. I enjoy cooking with lentils, split peas and dried beans, but when doing so I always have the same question. These products come with a warning printed on the label that the product should be rinsed and sorted, to ensure there are no small stones in the package. I have cooked with dried lentils, peas and beans many times in my life and I have never found a stone in any package.

Has anyone ever encountered a stone?

No, but I always follow the rinsing and soaking directions. I've even read that kidney beans can be toxic if they're not properly boiled and rinsed first before using in chili.

Never in a pea soup.
Or any soup for that matter.

I have found a rare stone. I find small hard pieces of dirt or a bad bean more often. You are bound to find extra stuff in pinto bean bags. I think it is because of the color being more similar to the bean.

Yes :-(
First time I used lentils, before cooking rather than using the tooth wrecking technique.
Red beens certainly needd a good pre-soak to remove some really nasty toxins, these days I buy tin or packs of pre-soaked beens as doing so saves a lot of faff....

Tonight is Hamburger Helper, via the microwave, last time I tried the stove in My 5qt saute pan, but the pan was almost empty, so it's in a microwave safe pan that is the right size, and it's smelling good.

It's Crunchy Taco.

@ Gordon
Have you ever made beer bread? The reason I'm asking is because I noticed your container of self rising flour in the pasta picture.
