When you have a lot of machines, and you ask a question like that, it helps if you can identify which machine is giving you trouble. I've looked at your one-and-only Windows machine, and it doesn't seem to be that one: I'll leave it to the Linux guys to search through the others. |

My guess would be this machine, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7722987, but they are inconclusives...for now. My second guess would be it's related to using a GPU driver Lower than 350.x with setiathome_7.08_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu__opencl_nvidia_sah. and so it begins... |

Can anyone tell me why I have so many Tasks that are invalid. I'm not 100% on the technicality behind SETI so I'm unsure. If that is the host with your problems http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7722987 there was a thread about bad drivers for NV GPU OpenCL apps during Beta test phase, naming exactly 304.125 and 340.29 as bad examples on linux (see http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/forum_thread.php?id=2250 ). Solution : choose another driver that works ok. (350.xx should be on the safe side, but others also did deliver good work with older drivers.) _\|/_ U r s |
