Is everything up and running? I have 5 tasks "Ready To Report" but haven't been able to upload for 3 day?

The answers to questions about Uploads, Downloads, Reporting, and other Server-related issues can usually be found in the Number Crunching Forum, in the current Panic Mode ON (XXX) Server Problems? thread.

There is currently a problem with one of the on-campus routers that handles Seti@Home traffic at the Data Center. It belongs to UC Berkeley IT, and their staff is working on it. Please read the Panic Mode On thread for further information.

Good News. Uploads have started flowing again (for me). 3 of the 5 "Ready to Report" jobs are gone and new ones have appeared. Thanks, Donald.

P.S. Your tag line is a bit redundant. If you were a submariner, you definitely had to be an optimist. (From a Skimmer.)

Let's hope something intresting comes of the analysis- Hopefully it wasn't just a error- and that the box exploded or overloaded due to some new finding. Life may be a stretch, but prehaps we could find some new information.

It was NOT one of the Seti@Home/BOINC servers that caught fire.
There was NO damage to our servers, just a loss of power until the fire was put out and the building ventilated.
