Here are the rules:

1. The previous winner posts a picture of some sort of tool.
2. Other people guess what it is. The poster tells them if they're right or wrong, with any other comments he/she sees fit.
3. After no new guesses have been made for a couple of days, the poster should provide a hint.
4. If there is still no correct answer given, the poster may declare the panel stumped, give the answer, and post another picture.
5. Whoever posts the correct answer is the winner and posts the next tool. Go back to 1.

New rule "that a winner, if they do not run the next stage declines and the game is open to any one who wants to play."

Painful...
Used for generating three holes in the hand where one would do quite nicely...

Oh. I know this. A Victorian bedpost notcher...

...for serial exaggerators or those genuinely into more erm... crowded sheets

I'll go search for another tool whilst I wait for your *send hypnotic whirly gaze into Admiral's monitor* ... confirmation :)

edited for the addition of explicit content.

oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :)

Arboreal torture implement. A multi-functional tool for: de-maple-syruping maple trees; securing a tree to a fist (for however long the securer is prepared to stand there with the pointy ends spearing it) and other general misodendroist activities.

Due to its somewhat short length, the tool is rarely used by dendrophobes, although they do sometimes carry several with them whilst out, and ask others to do the tree-securing so that they can then pass without suffering a severe anxiety attack. I prefer to just hold the tree for them :)

edited for the purpose of destroying an inappropriate apostrophe... again :/
