Judgement time!

First, dishonorable mention to both Lynn and Angela for failing to realize that that is a film camera, with texts and watermarks not being a function of the camera. (a 1960's era Olympus Pen FT…)

Honorable mention to Anniet for recognizing that it's a camera - especially the "nose selfies" line... (it doesn't focus that close, Anniet...)

Third place goes to Protical Man for: "PRO / PTII
Pro / Peeping Tom Mark 2 "For those hard to reach 'Models'" "

Second Place goes to Carlos for: "Half frame blow up" It is, indeed, a ½ frame camera - one of only two SLR ½ frame cameras ever made (both by Olympus...) (his "Would you like some camera with that lens?" is in a tie for second...)

And (Ta-Da!) First Place and next photo post go to Rob Smith for:
"My lens is bigger than your lens"

This example of photo absurdity is a Pro-Optic 500mm Æ’ 6.3 mirror lens on an Olympus Pen FT, with a 35mm equivalent angle of view of 625mm; mounted through three adapters: a T-mount to Nikon F mount, an F mount to Canon EOS mount and an EOS mount to the Pen FT mount. Yes, there are larger mirror lenses out there (I have an 800mm, too...) with a 2000mm Æ’ 10 (think '10" reflector telescope'...) being the largest I've heard of...

PM going out as soon as this is posted...

It doesn't? That's quite a glitch...

Paul, I was trying to poke fun at teenagers who have never seen a real camera and perhaps think that cell phone cameras are the only type of cameras in existence. If it takes pictures, it must be some sort of phone.

Sigh. I suppose that if I have to EXPLAIN my joke, then clearly my dishonorable mention is justly awarded and well deserved.

Congratulations, Rob!!!

@ Angela
Don't let it get you Angela. I saw the manual film rewinder on top. I just couldn't figure out a suitable caption. It looked like a "space station habitat" was docked to a old camera.

Admiral, in that astronomical vein, think "5 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope", married to a camera...

I figured that both Lynn and Angela were probably joking... but I couldn't be certain! ( a :-), ;-), or LOL emoticon would'a changed my opinion...),

Here is a iPhone camera accessory. The article didn't show the pic. So I copied it.

Admiral, since that Sigma is available in Nikon-mount, I could mount it on my Pen FT - if I had the $ 26,000 (us) to buy the lens! (and wanted to carry around a 15.7 kilogram [35 lbs] lens!)
