Raiders lost a close one to the Steelers 38-35, on a last-second field goal, to go to 4-4. But this year, they could still make the playoffs as a Wild Card. And next year, .....

And for the Steelers, the kid who replaced Rothlesberger looked pretty good, too. Get him a little more playing time, .....

Will have to see if the "Ditka curse" still lingers over the Green Bay Packers later today.

* and *

If the Dallas Cowboys will be back in the saddle with Tony Romo returning.

BTW, if you're in NC, the day after the Panthers score 20 or more points, everything on the menu at Papa John's is 50% off, online/mobile orders only.

The code is PANTHERS20.

The Bills played well enough to win....but there were multiple bad/no-calls by the refs. Yes the Patriots got screwed on a TD but we counted (a Pats fan agreed) that there were at least 2 horsecollar tackles (one may have been a facemask) that weren't called. At the end, the refs let the clock burn 10 seconds having their discussion of reviewing a play...and on the last play Sammy Watkins goes out of bounds leaving 2 secs on the clock--refs let the clock run out. Horrid officiating.

Now, tell me again, why were the Panthers the underdogs?

Raiders 24, Titans 21.
Raiders 5-7, better than last year.
Still a slim chance at a playoff berth.

49ers were losing to Arizona 6-0 in the 2nd quarter when I got bored and turned it off.
