Apple only expects your iPhone to last three years Oh dear perhaps I won't tell them about my iPad 2 (5 years in June), or my iPhone 4s, (was 3 in Feb, no doubt about to fail then). Or of course my iPhone 3GS which is 6 years old and I will be using in a couple of weeks as a personal hotspot! I suspect it is more to do with the wear and tear they get than reliability. Oh almost forgot about my 2007 Macbook :-) |

My first iMac(the classic blue) lasted from summer of 2000 until it literally went up in smoke in summer of 2009. I've had it's replacement ever since, and with the exception of a noisy fan, it's doing fine. The fan is cause for worry though, I know. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Me I'm just trying to get My pc working, so far short of finding the old bios chip, it is rma time for my evga x79 classified motherboard, I do have an alternative motherboard up my sleeve, an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme that has its own 3820 cpu, that should work just fine, at least on this one I didn't touch the bios chip. Americans put Sweden's new phone number on speed dial. +46 771 793 336 More than 84,000 from 173 countries calls have been made to Sweden since became it the first country in the world to launch its own phone number last week, with about 30 percent coming from the US. https://youtu.be/S087OHdCG8I http://www.thelocal.se/20160415/watch-swedish-pm-pick-up-for-the-swedish-number |

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36067591 It had to happen sooner or later. Now look at what is being developed http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-35890486 Imagine one of them passing through a jet turbine while it is landing or taking off Kevin |

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36067591 For the rest of the aircraft it would probably be no worse than a frozen chicken, but that fuel tank would probably rupture if it was struck by a fan blade, even if the hydrogen did not explode imediately it would burn well when it passed through the rest of the engine. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36067591 And those tanks, I would guess Carbon Fibre or similar, may be a little solid for the rest of the engine... unlike the rest of the plastic parts of the drone. Hmm I wonder about the metal motor parts?... probably too small and light I hope. Happy Crunching, Graham |

Most of the tanks are composite or metal composite, Its whats in them though, most of those designed for cars work up to 10,000 psi, thats in gas form not liquified. With these drones weight is critical, so I would assume everything will be as light as possible within safety margins and crash resistance tests but the front fan on some of these turbines can be revolving at up to 6,000 rpm and that fan is over 6 ft in diameter and made of titanium. First, There was joke about Air Bus borrowing the FAA's chicken gun. Seems that all the windshields they tested failed. When the asked the FAA about it the response was "Thaw the chicken first" No frozen chicken are used. Second, it will not matter what the tank is made of. It's filled with hydrogen. Jet engines have blown apart from an internal oil leak. Ingestion of a liter of hydrogen will overspeed the engine. Parts will blow apart. |

When the asked the FAA about it the response was "Thaw the chicken first" Qantas_Flight_32 (A380 super jumbo). Rolls-Royce determined that the direct cause of the oil fire and resulting engine failure was a misaligned counter bore within a stub oil pipe leading to a fatigue fracture. |

I would give dollars over dougnuts that Prince died from drug abuse of some kind. The story about having a flu just don't cut it. Another Jackson, with no excuse, some fleabag doc cutting the scripts, and years of legal battles following. My take on it so far. The man did not die of the simple flu. Gimme a break check here, but I am dead certain I am right on this. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I would give dollars over dougnuts that Prince died from drug abuse of some kind. Drug related, likely. Abuse, maybe not. Heard a report he got all his meds from the same pharmacy, that isn't the MO of abuse. IIRC I heard a report the flu had progressed to pneumonia. Some opioids are contra-indicated with pneumonia. Possible he belonged in a hospital bed but either wouldn't go or didn't know he needed to. Vanity can kill. I'd more expect that a doc he saw on the road didn't have a full medical history so he didn't know to order him to stop some med or know there might be a reaction to something he prescribed. Likely told the road doc he would see his regular one and didn't! Lawsuits, yes, lots and long, doctors hauled in front of medical boards, etc. |

After getting arrested for robbing an Arby's, 36-year-old Dante Anderson claimed to be a time-traveling food bandit... Oklahoma man claims to be time-traveling food bandit In the future, everyone will get food by manhandling restaurant managers and then stealing a handful of chicken and bacon. |
