Just a quick question: How do english speaking ppl vocalize "www"? Is it "double u double u double u", is it "triple double u" or just simply "world wide web"?

Where does the U come from?

WeeWeeWee...............:)

There are those of us who dislike going around the houses when in simple & quite correct English "Triple W" would be more than sufficient - 3 words to your 6.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken commercials with an actor portraying the Colonel are horrible. It's bad enough that some people think Colonel Sanders was a fictional character, but these commercials are sad. I'm amazed and sad that Kentucky Fried Chicken headquarters at Yum!, here in Louisville, approved those terrible ads.

I have to agree. Norman MacDonald as Colonel Sanders really is a disservice.

The commercials are so DUMB / STUPID /(insert any other similar synonym here)... I'd fire the ENTIRE AD AGENCY and KFC/YUM Brands Executive team along with everyone who put a finger or even thought to approve these ad's.

Colonel Harland David Sanders was an American businessman, best known for founding fast food chicken restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken and later acting as the company's goodwill ambassador and symbol. His name and image are still symbols of the company.

The Colonel Sanders imposter reminds me of a show I used to watch called, To Tell the Truth: Three people faced a panel of judges. Two were actors trying to stump the judges into thinking one of them was the real-life person who they were portraying. The other was the real McCoy.

Hard to say, into which category this would fit. A piece of news...

Science (non-SETI): from Russia,

Politics: from Putinistan,

Cafe SETI: from Absurdistan,

Russian space agency gets replaced by state corporation — Kremlin.

Be it here.

Guess they are trying to compete with Space X and Virgin Galactic. Now they are into the privatization of space.
