I completed and uploaded a number of work units yesterday, but they are still showing as In-Progress, not Completed and Awaiting Validation. Very frustrating. What is going on? When I go into the workunit itself it even shows the upload and the results, but on the account/results pages it is not acknowledging the completeness status. |

The section on the server that allows you to watch your results is currently not working (for all of us) We just have to wait, until they fix it. (called replica data base) |

But you are getting credit for it, your RAC will change. You just can't look at any work in progress or results. |

Yes strange things are afoot, i'm missing 377k from the last stats update(2 hrs ago). Well I am according to external stats sites compared to what they are here. I mean I know the replica database is still catching up but why are the stats exports figures so different to what they are here? I thought the replica played no role in stats? Even if it does at the moment it's only 20 mins behind not 24hrs so whats with the big difference? *LOL* I guess it's possible I crunched 377k in the last 2 hours but reality tells me other wise ;) Can someone enlighten me please. |

Does this also explain why when I added a computer yesterday the CPU/GPU description come up and a number was assigned to it, it is receiving credit for work, but when I click on the computer profile (details) or tasks it says no such computer exists? |

No, problem is in "BOINC replica database", server called carolyn. Currently it is 60,425 seconds (about 16 hours) behind master database, and S@H uses carolyn's database to create host/wu stats/profiles. |

Following last nights DB crash all sorts of things are "strange" even by SETI@Home's standards of strangeness. For example the Server Stats page shows that the number of AP channels to be split is still 7, but the time of report is "more or less" correct, and that's the same number to be split as it was 7hours ago (and I'm quite certain that the last of those was split went out a few hours ago) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I know there only once a day but at the time of the stats update went live on boincstats it was already 377,000 credit behind for me. At this time 377k is around one whole day + worth of credit. I think WezH may have the answer and that's that the replica database is actually 16 hours behind and if it controls the stats exports then that's why mine & others people's stats are way behind. If this is the case then problem solved. Strange though I read in another post recently that the replica database had nothing to do with stats or stats exports, and it was by someone who should know? Just to reiterate the stats here seem to be working correctly. But there definitely way behind for boincstats or freeDC. |

I got quite a few 'new split' AP WUs between 23:00 UTC and midnight last night, after the system recovered from the crash. They were all from 'tapes' 27dc14ac and 30no14ac. Before that, tape 24dc14ac ran dry around 19:30 UTC. The tapes still incomplete on the server status page are from recording dates early in the month - 01, 02, 03. Those are the same tapes that were interrupted mid-split last Wednesday, and haven't moved since. I imagine they'll pick up again after the next restart, unless Jeff loads some more data from his magic box of disks. |
