I don't mind Steam games, but have totally no interest in the Metal Gear Solid range. It's fun to watch the guys from Achievement Hunter bumble themselves through it, but that's all.

The easy part of Steam games is that you don't have to flip through 6 DVDs when installing a game. Of course it isn't fun to install a game on a slow speed connection, but at 24.8MB/sec it is fun, I can tell you. :)

Which reminds me, it's Weekend Give Away, with up to 90% off of prices.
