Not sure about when using Crossfire, but as independent cards BOINC will see them both and, provided you have "use all GPUs" set (I think that is the default) then SETI will run on both cards.

You may actually need to disable crossfire in the driver when running SETI@home. The last time I tested running with crossfire enabled I ended up with trashed work. However newer drivers may resolve the issue.

No. Use the best GPU is the default, but in this case with both GPUs being identical, they'll be both used by default. As long as the correct drivers have been installed, etc.

I have two R9 280Xs and I'm pretty sure I have crossfire enabled. It doesn't help with SETI of course. I can double check this evening. I play HAWKEN, therefore I'm pretty sure xfire is enabled. As for drivers, Win 10 Pro and CCC 15.XX (the latest) and no problems. Skip over to the thread; Optimizing GPUs for more info.

usually when you drop the second card in, crossfire will be automatically enabled and seti@home will still work. feel free to play with the settings but in my experience seti@home works slightly faster with crossfire turned off.

O.K., so I was running X-fire. I have turned it off to just to see what happens...
