Cute, but a bit impractical, I think. His nose would keep running into things.

Covers two people pretty adequately, but I daren't say, I would get banned :-)))))

Mister S.

If you have not made any New Year's resolutions yet, I have a recommendation. Please consider the following:

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Sincerely,
Crazy Raccoon Lady, Manager
The Critter Cafe

With all due respect, Madam Manager, which Mister S?

I, of course, was referring only to K9's nose, no one else's.
David

We gave a huge Northern goshawk working
the main highway between here and the
city of Fort Saskatchewan.

I have lived here since 1979 and this is the
first time I have seen one here at this time
of the year. I am hoping it can make it through
the winter.

To-day I also saw a Gyrfalcon working
in a big field just along a treeline.

https://www.google.ca/search?q=grayfalcon&sa=X&rls=com.microsoft:en-US:IE-Address&biw=1280&bih=655&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ved=0ahUKEwjSut-W35TKAhVGFh4KHXCsBfcQsAQILg

This is beginning to be come a banner year for me what with
lots of new bird species popping in, some not seen in
decades so say some of the local old timers.
I was on my way to the home of the town expert on the oral
history of the area, "Old Kuzak." Local lore has it that
this man was living here so far back in the old days that
he clamed to have seen a live 'Manitoba woolly rhinoceros.'
Alas bad news on that front, it seems that sight of a full
grown man walking willingly up their sidewalk brought on a very
server case of the winter time vapors for his dear only sister.
Not to worry I think I now have enough information to start off
with for now.

I'm so glad this woman is an animal lover. This could have had a very
bad outcome.

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Sorry, no can do. Wanna ban me for supporting Raccoons?

Oi Betreger, don't be so uncharitable! I wish I had one in my back garden :-))

You can have mine. My "new" racoon has managed to find its way into the
bedroom at night, just as the other ones did. That means I have to stop
putting food in the bedroom overnight for the dogs and cats. :-/

I could kick the cats out and close the door, but then it might find a
small rock and come knocking. ;-)

I have just stopped feeding a pair of local grey squirrels. Very cute sitting on their hindlegs nibbling nuts. Until they dig up all your flower baskets, and borders to bury stuff. Little bastards!

Now what are you on about my family again!!! You know we store for the winter. We don't get to go to tesco for our winter supplies, or are you going to pay the tab? ;-)

Starting to serious think about getting a couple of Powerball lotto tickets. The number is up to 1.3 BILLION. Knowing after taxes I might get half. That still is a BIG chunk of money.

If you take the lump sum, after taxes on 1.3 Billion would be 28.7% (you don't get the full amount with lump sum) not counting state income tax. $373 million aprox.

I always thought his work was too weird and androgynous for me, but no doubt he was a superstar in his own lifetime.
I thought the same until 'Major Tom'. And the best cover of that song was done by a Canadian, Chris Hadfield while commanding the ISS.

As curiosity is that David Bowie wrote an English version of the song My Way, originally Comme d'habitude, before Paul Anka, then titled Even a Fool Learns to Love. This version was however never used.

David Bowie was not one of my favorite artists, but I did like most
of his music. My favorite is actually "Queen featuring David Bowie."
It's Under Pressure.

True, provided one bought a ticket, I didn't, I've never won anything in Powerball.
