Well it means that all 3 are closely related enough to interbreed and these Coywolf's are Nocturnal.. And are smart enough to look both ways before crossing a street...

In Russia they have interbreeded dogs and jackals.
They work in airports to detect drugs and explosives.
And they are very good at that.

There he is!!!

I found that he left the TARDIS over an hour ago; but, didn't know where he'd gotten off to...

Bad dog, K-9! Back to the TARDIS.

"Yes, Master."

I have been very busy as I am watching over the better part of 700 people for as much as 16 hours a day. They didn’t tell me when I took the job that I would be one of two moderators doing much of the work. In any case the server crashed so I came over here and discovered the Raccoon thread hadn’t been bumped in 4 days. I guess I haven’t told anybody here that I live near the flight path to Sky Harbor. These are two picture, one from the night of the blood moon and the other from the following night while I still had the camera set up. Enjoy.

I heard on an NPR story that dogs have an enzyme in their digestive systems that can deal with carbohydrates where as wolves can't deal with them.

Catch up time.

Good pics Dena!

I doubt that raccoons are interested in the chickens, but I would bet they would get hold of the eggs if they could!

The Neanderthal was a species of human in the genus Homo that became extinct between 41,000 and 39,000 years ago. Family Tree

dogs, wolves and coyotes are all, basically, one species?

For all practical purposes I guess you could see them as that.

A procrastinator?? Hmm I have fallen into that category at times, but I do try hard not to. Isn't always easy at the end of a long day.

Agreed on all points Chris S(2). Here's My version of Admirals Raccoon, as a Sith. Oopsie!

I am aware of many cases of domestic dogs and wolves inter-breeding. Spend some time on a western Canadian farm, and you would be too.
