too lazy for butter

If you leave it out on the counter, it will always be spreadable. If you eat it fast enough, it won't spoil. How is that not a win-win?

When the cats get to it first? :)

oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :)

Oh I assure you that every pat of butter I eat goes straight to my cholesterol choked heart.

I think it goes to my tummy and spare tire. First place to gain it and last place to lose it.

Never. But then again http://blog.fooducate.com/2009/02/24/eleven-ketchup-facts/
5. 25% of ketchup is sugar!! Now you know why kids love it, and consider ketchup the main part of a meal, with the rest of the food serving as a condiment.

6. Ketchup is also high in salt. a single teaspoon contains almost ten percent’s worth of the daily maximum recommended value of sodium.

7. The ingredient list for Heinz ketchup is:
Tomato Concentrate , Distilled Vinegar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Salt, Spice, Onion Powder, Natural Flavoring.

If you were wondering why corn syrup (a cheaper sugar than table sugar) appears twice, a possible answer could be that by splitting the sugar ingredient into 2 separate ingredients, it doesn’t appear in the second place in the list, psychologically reducing the fear of buying the product.
And you thought pats of butter were ....

No, he came home from Memphis. To Chicago. I know what you mean. I didn't realize until the last couple of years that Italian beef is strictly a Chicago thing.

Maybe I'll suggest to Portillo's that they open one in Denver. The new owners are supposed to be interested in expanding.

Got it. Yes, encourage them to expand here. There are many places that purport to have an Italian Beef here but that last one I had locally that tasted right was in 1985, a place called 'Chicago Boys' closed at that time. Nothing worthy of the name since.

Are you thinking of frite sauce? It is sort of mayo. Close enough that you can get the same effect with North American Mayo on your fries.
