Message 1719406 - Posted: 28 Aug 2015, 1:44:14 UTC - in response to Message 1719400.

Aunties always matter!!!

So do dual pane windows, putting that a/c in made one of My dual pane windows into a single pane, converting another single pane aluminum framed window into a dual pane vinyl window would make My front room cooler again, but I'd need about $350, since the swamp cooler can't overcome 105F and 10% humidity outside, even with a pump upgrade to 360gph from 255gph(gallons per hour, of water), as that is making the water in My cold water pipes very very warm, almost hot...

And I do need to replace the insulation on some copper pipes outside(about $120 for materials and a heater to fix, maybe another $130), I need to do both and yet I'm not sure I can without doing what some said I shouldn't and that I decided I wouldn't do, so what do I do???

Loan or gofundme?

This is guess work, except on the insulation.

what about the tv

That's something for January 2015(Dec 31st 2015), on the Samsung 55" only, the dead Mitsubishi 57" is going in the trash, it's unsellable here.

My cat Grace threw up today, the temp was 88F close to the front door, over at the cooler the temp was 86F, now that I closed down the cooler, started the a/c and closed the window, the inside temp is now 83F, I used 3 paper towels and some clorox type cleaner on the carpet(loosely white) and the carpet is cleaned up.

I went to Rochester NY in July and stayed in the Hilton for the first time (somebody else set that up or I would have been looking for the motel 6), and when I walked into my room I thought I walked into a meat locker. The temperature was set to 68 degrees. I bumped the temperature up to a tolerable 78 degrees but it took all nigh for the room to warm up because the outside temperature was so mild. Lucky for me the bed had a really thick quilt that I could stay warm under. The next morning I was in the room when the cleaning lady showed up and the first thing she did was question the room temperature and she thought the AC was broken. I explained that I was from Arizona and 68 degrees was just to cold. What I don't understand is the rest of the hotel was kept closer to 76 degrees so why where the rooms so cold?

On the other hand, I now understand why people stay at the Hilton. I could get used to the better class hotels.

The first time we went to Hawaii we splurged ($400 a night), and stayed at the Mauna Lani Bay resort. Talk about luxury! Walk out of the room onto the beach. The center of the Hotel is a tropical atrium with a meandering waterway through it with black tip sharks. Outside there is a lagoon with sting rays. Amazing. If you get the chance do it!

Vic, I am not sure where you get your prices from. Replacing the foam on the pipping at most is $10. You shop on a champgne budget.
I am on a budget too, but I plan ahead.

Poo happens Chris. He's probably bored with little to do. I have been there myself. But minus the Internet. At least he has a outlet to chat to the world with.

Amazon, there it's $17.75(anyone) or $9.18(Prime customers only) at the moment. Home Depot $7.83(Armaflex 1 in. x 6 ft. Rubber Self-Seal Pipe Wrap Insulation, price includes 8% tax) per 6 ft length, unless you want the cheap stuff, mind you the pipe is exposed to the sun too.

Doesn't everybody note the details when someone/something voms all over the place?

I thought it was standard procedure, temp, humidity, thread count of the carpet etc...
