Yes, doesn't it just?
Had to look at my own - 13 years earlier this month.

Anybody else celebrate a Seti-versary this month?
Maybe we could meet in Rocky's on the 31st and celebrate.

edit] I see Sparky is on that list......

Stop telling Vic to smile!!!

Some of us have faces that look frowny when they're actually just relaxed or neutral. I can put an enormous effort into smiling and it hardly looks like anything, but it uses so much energy I can't hold it for long.

I get really sick and tired of people telling me to smile, and I bet Vic does too.

I did work on the coolers water lines and before breakfast I might add, so My holey jeans are soaked in places, but the water is now flowing perfectly, so for the days in the 100's, the temps in here should be cooler and the new UL8500 cooler pump and pump screen(the screen came with the pump). Of course I noticed some of My water pipes that are outside My house need new pipe insulation & tape and someone to install them, I have someone in mind to do that, somehow I'm going to have to get that and the electrical work done here, as well as buy 2-125v 20A outlets from the home depot in Ivory. That and pay for the DMV and taxes on My home between September 1st and December 8th. I'm hoping to buy the two outlets in September, I won't have enough resources until October to maybe do the electrical work and the new self sealing pipe insulation($89)? That's about $120 in supplies and over $100 in labor and supplies from an electrician, in October I'll have somewhere near $150 or so paid up on one card, but the insulation isn't cheap, nor are the new sticky outlet gaskets($18), the outlets are almost $7, and since I don't know what model of Murray breaker I have, I'll have to ask Murray, I know just the amp rating and I might need a double poled breaker($25) for the gas heater to replace the broken one with. The tape is $11 a roll. All I can do is light work, no bending, being on My knees or where I can't see well enough. Light work like on the pump to the cooler and the tubing or buying parts that I know of when I have some extra money, it's going to be tight.

And that plant is gorgeous Suzie. Do the flowers have any scent?

Not that I can tell. They're very small.

I, too, have a resting frowny face. And I, too, get tired of people
telling me to smile. Believe me, it happens to women much more than
it happens to men. I almost went so far as to make up a horrible
story to tell whenever someone - a stranger - told me to smile. I was
going to tell a story about my dad who committed suicide and didn't leave
a note. The story is true, but it happened years earlier. I would have
left that last part out. My hope was that I would make the person
feel bad and forever stop telling people to smile.

I was only telling Vic to smile (or suggesting that he smile) because
he was taking a photo. It's common to suggest that someone smile when
a photo is being taken. And you don't have to make a huge effort. Just
smile enough so that the corners of your mouth are higher than the
middle. You also don't have to hold it "for long." Only for a few
seconds.
